Hunter’s Place is a newly built home designed for the comfort and safety of the girls who will stay here.

The owners of Hunter’s Place dreamt of a place where youth felt safe and were given the tools they needed to be successful. Hunter’s Place is that dream come true. Below is a list of services Hunters Place provides.

  • Trauma-informed care
  • Daily scheduled activities including sensory, regulation, relational, and recreation
  • Independent Living Skills
  • 24-hour awake staff

Services provided by community resources:

  • Individual, family, and group therapy
  • AA and NA meetings
  • Occupational therapy
  • Education is provided by Marshall Public Schools in mainstream classrooms. There is also Marshall Area Technical and Education Center and Marshall Learning Center for youth in grades 9-12. Belview Learning Center is for youth who need a more structured setting. Marshall Public Schools reviews records for each youth and makes the determination regarding which school setting a youth will attend. 

Short-term stays and truancy weekends are available through our shelter care program.
